ARTICLE 1 - ORGANIZER
The organization is provided by the “Causses Cévennes Trail Academy” association, law 1901. The association was created in September 2018 in Millau.
ARTICLE 2 - PROGRAM, EVENTS AND RACES
The Trail de la Cité de Pierres will take place on Saturday March 23 and Sunday March 24, 2024.
For all races, departures and arrivals take place at La Cité de Pierres in Montpellier-Le-Vieux, Le Maubert, 12100 La Roque Sainte-Marguerite.
Saturday March 23
EXPLO’RANDO 10KM: The hike is open to anyone able to do 10KM and 500 D+ while walking. No medical proof is necessary, departure 9 a.m.
CHILDREN'S RACES: the 1 KM is open to children born between Jan. 1, 2010 and Dec. 31. 2014 with parental authorization and compliant medical questionnaire. The 3KM is open to children born between Jan. 1, 2005 and Dec. 31. 2007 parental authorization and compliant medical questionnaire.
TRAIL 16 KM: The event is open to participants born before December 31, 2006 with valid medical proof. The race is carried out alone and without external assistance, over a 16 KM course and with 800 D+, the start is at 11 a.m. The event is the support of the Occitanie championship of the French Federation of University Trail Sports. There will also be an OPEN event (open to all), starting at 11:30 a.m.
TRAIL 10KM YOUTH U18 U20 U23: The event is open to participants born between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2001, corresponding to the Cadet, Junior and Hope categories with valid medical proof. The race is carried out alone and without external assistance, on a 10KM course with 500 D+, departure at 4:15 p.m.
TRAIL 10KM: The event is open to participants born before December 31, 2001, from the senior category with valid medical proof. The race is carried out alone and without external assistance, on a 10KM course with 500 D+, departure 4:30 p.m.
Sunday March 24
TRAIL 31KM CLASSIC: The event is open to participants born before December 31, 2004 with valid medical proof. The race is carried out alone and without external assistance, on a 31KM course and with 1600 D+, departure at 9 a.m.
At any time, the organization of the Trail de la Cité de Pierres reserves the right to modify the route and/or the times of the events listed in the program.
ARTICLE 3 – GENERAL CONDITIONS
The Trail de la Cité de Pierres events will take place in accordance with these regulations, those of the French Athletics Federation and races outside the stadium. All participants undertake to respect these regulations simply by registering and collecting their bib, and release the organizers from liability for any incident or accident which may occur as a result of non-compliance. -compliance with these same regulations.
ARTICLE 4 – REGISTRATIONS
The course is limited to 1500 participants (+/- 10%). Registrations are mainly done online:

FFA licenses (single and with proof) benefit from a reduction of €2 for the 31KM CLASSIC.

ARTICLE 5 – TRANSFER OF THE BIB
File transfers are possible via the njuko platform and your runner account. Transfers are free and can be made until March 20, 11:59 p.m.
ARTICLE 6 - REFUND
To use cancellation, it is essential to have subscribed to cancellation insurance via our partner BEticketing insurance which reimburses 80% of the value of your bib. Insuring all causes, for any unpredictable and sudden event you will participate in the event. Reimbursement is possible until March 20, without proof.

ARTICLE 8 - CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
The Trail Cité de Pierres is open to all, men and women, licensed or not. The minimum age for participation varies depending on the event, cf. Article 2.
Medical proof must be provided on the njuko registration platform from the following options:
- an Athlé Competition, Athlé Entreprise, Athlé Running license issued by the FFA, or a “Pass' J'aime Courir” issued by the FFA and completed by the doctor, valid on the date of the event . (Please note: other licenses issued by the FFA (Health, Supervision and Discovery are not accepted);
- or a sports license, valid on the date of the event, on which must appear, by all means, the non-contraindication to the practice of sport in competition, athletics in competition or competitive walking course delivered by one of the following federations:
o Fédération des Clubs de Défense (FCD),
o Fédération Française des Sports Adaptés (FFSA),
o Fédération française du handisport (FFH),
o Fédération Nationale des Sports de la Police (FSPN),
o Fédération sportive ASPTT,
o Fédération Française Sportive et Culturelle (FSCF),
o Fédération Ouvrière des Sports et de Gymnastique (FSGT),
o Union française des œuvres laïques d'éducation physique (UFOLEP) ;
- or a medical certificate of absence of contraindication to the practice of competitive sport or competitive athletics or competitive running, dated less than one year from the date of the competition , or its copy.
No other document can be accepted to attest to possession of the medical certificate.
Foreign participants are required to provide a medical certificate of no contraindication to the practice of competitive sport, competitive athletics or competitive running, even if they hold a license competition issued by a federation affiliated with World Athletics. This certificate must be written in French, dated, signed and allow the authentication of the doctor, whether or not the latter is established on the national territory. If it is not written in French, a French translation must be provided or they can also go through the PPS platform.
- or a certificate (paper, electronic or QR code type) indicating that the adult has completed the Health Prevention Course (PPS) set up by the French Athletics Federation via its dedicated platform, the conditions of use of which will also be established by the latter. To be valid, the PPS must have been carried out a maximum of 3 months before the date of the Trail de la Cité de Pierres. https://pps.athle.fr/
Note: The trail de la Cité de Pierres is one of the races which have received authorization to enter the test phase of the PPS by the French athletics federation.

ARTICLE 10 - AID STATIONS
For all events, no external assistance will be possible, nor at the refreshment points at Notre-Dame des Treilles or La Roque-Sainte-Marguerite. On all routes and refreshment areas, runners will be independent.
Access to St Véran (Notre Dame de Treilles) is prohibited to followers by municipal decree.
Parking in La Roque-Sainte-Marguerite is relatively limited, it is strongly recommended not to go into the village.

ARTICLE 12 - LUGGAGE LOCKERS
All 31KM and 16KM runners will benefit from a luggage lockers at the place of departure and arrival at La Cité de Pierres.
ARTICLE 13 - ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES AND ECO-RESPONSIBLE COMMITMENTS
You will cross two Natura 2000 zones: Gorges de la Dourbie and neighboring causses ("birds" zone) and Gorges de la Dourbie ("habitat" zone) in the heart of the Grands Causses Regional Natural Park and in the recognized Causses and Cévennes zone UNESCO World Heritage Site.
These natural environments are fragile, respect them, be discreet!
- do not throw any waste on the course
- keep dogs on a leash
- stay on marked trails
- avoid disturbing wildlife (during the nesting period, birds may abandon their nest and eggs if they are disturbed!)
- do not trample or pick the flowers
- do not enter the caves (at the end of March, the bats are barely coming out of hibernation, they are very weakened and can die if they are disturbed!)
Any conduct or attitude harmful to the environment will result in the disqualification of its author.
ARTICLE 14 - MARKING
Marking will be provided by breathable orange fabric tape. Flaggers will be positioned along the route.
ARTICLE 15 - INSURANCE
The Causses Cévennes Trail Academy association has taken out civil liability insurance for the event with GROUPAMA via CDR12.
ARTICLE 16 - ANTI-DOPING CONTROL
By its nature, the public it supervises and the values it carries, the Causses Cévennes Trail Academy association will be particularly vigilant against all doping attempts. Participants undertake to strictly respect the ban on doping as well as the provisions concerning anti-doping controls, as they result from the laws and regulations in force, in particular articles L.230-1 et seq. of the Sports Code. Participants undertake to submit to all anti-doping controls.
ARTICLE 17 - RACE DIRECTION
The race management is made up of the President of the Causses Cévennes Trail Academy association and all the people chosen for their skills. It is authorized to make all decisions for the smooth running of the race, and to rule within the time limit compatible with the requirements of the race on all complaints made during the event. Decisions are final unless new elements are brought to its attention.

ARTICLE 19 – TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Saturday March 23 and Sunday March 24, the RIOU SEC road linking La Roque Sainte-Marguerite to the Causse Noir will be closed in the direction of descent (except emergency services, organizations and local residents).
Sunday March 24, the access road to St Véran is closed in both directions (except emergency services, organizations and local residents) and the linking road Pierrefiche du Larzac to La Roque Sainte-Marguerite will be closed in the direction of ascent (except emergency services, organizations and local residents).
ARTICLE 20 – IMAGE RIGHTS
By participating in one of the courses included in the Trail de la Cité de Pierres program, each competitor expressly authorizes the organizing association Causses Cévennes Trail Academy, or one of its partners to use or have used or reproduce or have reproduced his name, his image. . , his voice and his sporting performance within the framework of these courses with a view to any direct exploitation or in derivative form of the event, and this on any medium, throughout the world, by any means known or unknown to date, and for the entire duration of the protection currently granted to direct or derived exploitations by legal or regulatory provisions.
ARTICLE 21 – CNIL/GDPR
The personal data communicated by participants are intended for authorized personnel of the Causses Cévennes Trail Academy association who are responsible for the processing of this data. This data is used to ensure the processing of participant registrations. Participants can receive information by email about the event for which they are registered as well as other events organized by the Causses Cévennes Trail Academy association. The information provided complies with the provisions set by the GDPR. In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, each participant has the right to access and rectify personal data concerning them. You can also unsubscribe from newsletters by going directly to the bottom of any newsletter you receive. ARTICLE 22 – CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT
The organization reserves the right to cancel one or all of the events for any reason that would put the runners in danger or any case of force majeure, without compensation for the runners.
In the event of cancellation of all or part of the event beyond the control of the organizer (weather conditions, decision of administrative authorities, pandemic, etc.) no refund can be made.
